Patrycja Rzadkowska is a psychologist & psycho oncologist, currently working for an international company. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the age of 25, in 2017. She voluntarily works as a Patient Expert & Patient Advocate for the cancer patient community.

Eithne Costello is a Professor of Molecular Oncology at the University of Liverpool, where she leads research efforts in pancreatic cancer diagnosis and early detection. She heads the Cancer Research UK-funded UK Early Detection Initiative for Pancreatic Cancer (UK-EDI), focusing on identifying biomarkers for early-stage disease. She has played leadership roles in European cancer research collaborations and has served on advisory boards for leading cancer organisations.

Giovanni Marchegiani is an internationally renowned pancreatic surgeon and researcher. He serves as an Associate Professor and Attending Surgeon at the HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery unit at the University of Padova Hospital. His expertise spans clinical management, novel surgical techniques, and research on pancreatic cancer. With over 300 peer-reviewed publications, he is recognised as a leading expert in pancreatic surgery and oncology.
Ilse Rooman, Belgium

Ilse Rooman is a Full Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Head of the Laboratory of Medical and Molecular Oncology. She has extensive experience in pancreatic cancer research, with a strong focus on translational research and early detection strategies. As Program Director for Pancreatic Cancer at the Anticancer Fund, she has overseen innovative clinical research projects and played an active role in European policy and advocacy initiatives.
