In 2026, Pancreatic Cancer Europe (PCE) marks 10 years of European collaboration dedicated to raising awareness and improving care for people affected by pancreatic cancer.
Since its establishment in 2016, PCE has brought together patient organisations, healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates across Europe to address persistent challenges, including late diagnosis, diagnostic delays, and poor survival outcomes. As the organisation enters its second decade, early detection and timely diagnosis remain central to its work.
As part of its anniversary year, PCE will host a series of awareness-focused activities in Malta in April 2026, including a European Masterclass for healthcare professionals and a public awareness event. These activities will create space for dialogue on early diagnosis, multidisciplinary care, and patient experience, alongside anniversary campaigns running throughout the year.
