PCE is pleased to announce that it has become a member of the European Liquid Biopsy Society (ELBS), a multidisciplinary network dedicated to advancing the clinical implementation of liquid biopsy technologies.
ELBS brings together key stakeholders from academia, clinical practice, industry, and national government agencies, working collaboratively to address the challenges of translating liquid biopsy research into routine clinical care. While the current focus of ELBS is on cancer, the society also recognises the future potential of liquid biopsy applications in other disease areas.
As part of this collaboration, the PCE will lead the ELBS Working Group on Patient Advocacy, reinforcing the importance of embedding the patient voice in the development and implementation of innovative diagnostic technologies.
By joining ELBS, PCE strengthens its commitment to supporting innovation, collaboration, and patient-centred research in pancreatic cancer. Through this membership, PCE will contribute the patient and advocacy perspective to a network that spans the full liquid biopsy pathway from technology harmonisation and clinical study design to engagement with regulatory bodies.
PCE looks forward to working closely with ELBS and its members on joint initiatives aimed at accelerating the responsible and effective clinical use of liquid biopsy, with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for people affected by pancreatic cancer.
