The Position: Fundraiser
PCE is looking for a skilled and motivated Fundraiser to join its team. In this role, the Fundraiser will be responsible for identifying fundraising opportunities, developing relationships with potential donors, and overseeing impactful fundraising campaigns.
The ideal candidate is professional, organised, and driven by PCE’s mission, with a remarkable commitment to enhancing fundraising initiatives and developing new strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PCE secretariat and Board to develop a comprehensive fundraising plan, including setting goals, mapping donor opportunities, and establishing timelines.
- Identify and map potential donors (individuals, industries, and foundations) aligned with PCE’s mission and activities.
- Effectively communicate PCE’s mission, vision, and programmes to potential donors.
- Support the preparation of grant applications and proposals.
- Track and monitor progress towards fundraising goals.
- Design and execute successful fundraising campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in fundraising, communications, business, public relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fundraising and marketing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capacity.
- Proficiency with donor management systems and experience in grant writing is an asset.
What We Offer: This is a part-time, freelance role with remote work flexibility. Compensation will be based on a percentage of the funds raised, aligned with the candidate’s experience and expertise.
