The Webinar:
This webinar explored how Health Technology Assessment (HTA) served as a vital link between policy development and patient access to innovative healthcare solutions. Bringing together patient organisations, policymakers, HTA bodies, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives, the event focused on how HTA processes could be optimised to better reflect patient needs and support equitable access to high-quality care.
Through best-practice presentations and a panel discussion, the webinar highlighted current challenges and actionable strategies to ensure that HTA contributed meaningfully to healthcare decision-making and patient outcomes.
Overall Goal:
The goal of this webinar was to foster a more inclusive and transparent HTA landscape that effectively integrated patient perspectives and supported timely access to innovation. By facilitating dialogue among key stakeholders, the event aimed to strengthen the role of HTA in advancing patient-centred healthcare policy at national and regional levels.
