The Webinar:

PCE, in collaboration with the European Pancreatic Club (EPC) and the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS), is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar for healthcare professionals on the role of physical activity in pancreatic cancer care. This webinar will explore how physical activity can be safely and effectively integrated into prevention, treatment, and survivorship, offering practical strategies to support patients across the care pathway.

This builds on the strong foundations laid in 2023, when PCE hosted its first webinar during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month 2023 to highlight the benefits of physical activity for patients. That initial event helped launch PCE’s wider Physical Activity and Pancreatic Cancer Project, which produced multilingual patient resources—such as our physical activity booklet and summary boards—and a social media campaign sharing insights from the main booklet. In 2025, we’re expanding these efforts by focusing on the role of physical activity during treatment and supporting its inclusion in day-to-day clinical practice.

As part of our commitment to making physical activity central to pancreatic cancer care, this webinar will support healthcare professionals in understanding how even low-to-moderate activity can enhance treatment tolerance, reduce fatigue, and improve patients’ quality of life.
